Terms of Service (English)

These terms apply when you use Thaqib, made by Lunabit Labs.

Agreeing to these terms

By using Thaqib, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Thaqib from the App Store is also covered by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

What Thaqib is

Thaqib helps families encourage good habits: kids check in when they've done something good, a grown-up approves, and stars add up to rewards the family chooses.

The Thaqib Family subscription

Thaqib Family is an auto-renewable subscription. It unlocks Thaqib for the whole family: up to 4 grown-ups and 6 kids, on any device, whichever Apple Account it uses. Shared iPads are free.

• Price and length: the yearly price is shown in the app before you buy, in your own currency. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free month ends.
• Free month: new subscribers may start with one month free. Unless it's cancelled at least 24 hours before the month ends, the yearly subscription begins and is charged.
• Renewal: the subscription renews each year unless it's cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current year. The renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that.
• Cancelling: in the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions; or in Thaqib, Settings › Subscription › Manage in the App Store. The subscription then runs until the end of the period already paid for.
• Family Sharing: Thaqib Family can be shared with your Apple family.
• When it ends: Thaqib rests. Nothing is deleted; the kids still see their stars and their sky, and check-ins, approvals and rewards wait until someone in the family subscribes again.
• Founding families: if you bought Thaqib before it became a subscription, your family keeps everything, free, for good.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, under its own terms.

Families and supervision

A parent or guardian sets up the family and is responsible for how Thaqib is used with their children, including who is invited, what is rewarded, and keeping the family PIN private. Rewards come from your family; we don't provide or fulfil them.

Religious content

The deeds Thaqib suggests for Prayers, Quran and Character & manners support your family's practice; they aren't religious rulings. Thaqib doesn't calculate prayer times. For religious guidance, consult a qualified scholar.

Your information

Your family's information is kept on your devices and in your iCloud, as the Privacy Policy describes. Sharing a family between devices uses your Apple Account and iCloud, which Apple provides under its own terms.

Ownership

Thaqib, its design and its content belong to Lunabit Labs and are protected by copyright and other laws.

No warranty

Thaqib is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, Lunabit Labs isn't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Thaqib.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be in the app and on this page, with its date at the top, and using Thaqib after a change means you accept it.

الموافقة على هذه الشروط

باستخدامك ثاقب، فإنك توافق على هذه الشروط. وإن لم توافق عليها، فيُرجى عدم استخدام التطبيق. ويخضع ثاقب المنزّل من App Store أيضًا لاتفاقية ترخيص المستخدم النهائي القياسية للتطبيقات المرخّصة من Apple.

ما هو ثاقب

يساعد ثاقب العائلات على تشجيع العادات الحسنة: يسجّل الأطفال حين يعملون شيئًا جميلًا، ويوافق أحد الوالدين، وتتجمع النجوم لتصبح مكافآت تختارها العائلة.

اشتراك عائلة ثاقب

عائلة ثاقب اشتراك يتجدد تلقائيًا. يفتح ثاقب للعائلة كلها: حتى 4 كبار و6 أطفال، على أي جهاز ومع أي حساب Apple. والآيبادات المشتركة مجانًا.

• السعر والمدة: يظهر السعر السنوي في التطبيق قبل الشراء، بعملتك. ويُخصم المبلغ من حساب Apple عند تأكيد الشراء، أو عند انتهاء الشهر المجاني.
• الشهر المجاني: قد يبدأ المشتركون الجدد بشهر مجاني. وما لم يُلغَ قبل انتهاء الشهر بـ24 ساعة على الأقل، يبدأ الاشتراك السنوي ويُخصم ثمنه.
• التجديد: يتجدد الاشتراك كل سنة ما لم يُلغَ قبل نهاية السنة الحالية بـ24 ساعة على الأقل، ويُخصم ثمن التجديد خلال الـ24 ساعة التي تسبق ذلك.
• الإلغاء: في تطبيق الإعدادات، اضغط اسمك ثم الاشتراكات؛ أو في ثاقب: الإعدادات ← الاشتراك ← الإدارة في App Store. ويستمر الاشتراك بعدها حتى نهاية المدة المدفوعة.
• المشاركة العائلية: يمكن مشاركة عائلة ثاقب مع عائلتك في Apple.
• عند انتهائه: يستريح ثاقب. لا يُحذف شيء، ويرى الأطفال نجومهم وسماءهم، وينتظر التسجيل والاعتماد والمكافآت حتى يشترك أحد في العائلة من جديد.
• العائلات المؤسِّسة: إن كنت اشتريت ثاقب قبل أن يصبح اشتراكًا، تحتفظ عائلتك بكل شيء مجانًا، للأبد.
• تتولى Apple المبالغ المستردة وفق شروطها.

العائلة والإشراف

يُنشئ أحد الوالدين أو وليّ الأمر العائلة، وهو المسؤول عن طريقة استخدام ثاقب مع أطفاله، بما في ذلك من يُدعى، وما يُكافأ عليه، والحفاظ على سرية رمز العائلة. والمكافآت تقدّمها عائلتك، ولا نقدّمها نحن ولا نتولى تنفيذها.

المحتوى الديني

الأعمال التي يقترحها ثاقب في الصلوات والقرآن والأخلاق والآداب تدعم عائلتك في عباداتها وأخلاقها، وليست فتاوى أو أحكامًا شرعية. ولا يحسب ثاقب أوقات الصلاة. وللمسائل الشرعية، يُرجى الرجوع إلى أهل العلم.

معلوماتك

تُحفظ معلومات عائلتك على أجهزتك وفي iCloud الخاص بك، كما تصف سياسة الخصوصية. وتعتمد مشاركة العائلة بين الأجهزة على حساب Apple وخدمة iCloud، اللذين تقدّمهما Apple وفق شروطها الخاصة.

الملكية

ثاقب وتصميمه ومحتواه مملوكة لـ Lunabit Labs، ومحميّة بحقوق النشر وغيرها من القوانين.

إخلاء المسؤولية عن الضمانات

يُقدَّم ثاقب «كما هو» دون أي ضمانات. ولا نضمن أن يكون متاحًا دائمًا أو خاليًا من الأخطاء.

حدود المسؤولية

إلى الحد الذي يسمح به القانون، لا تتحمل Lunabit Labs المسؤولية عن أي خسارة أو ضرر ينشأ عن استخدامك ثاقب.

التغييرات

قد نحدّث هذه الشروط. وستجد النسخة الجديدة في التطبيق وفي هذه الصفحة وتاريخها في أعلاها، ويعني استمرارك في استخدام ثاقب بعد أي تغيير قبولك له.

Privacy Policy (English)

Thaqib helps families reward good habits. This policy explains what the app keeps, where it's kept, and who can see it.

What Thaqib keeps

• Your kids' names, colors and emoji, and, if you add them, a photo, their age, and whether each is a boy or a girl (used only for the Arabic wording).
• The behaviors and rewards you set up, what each kid sees, and the reward each kid is saving for.
• Check-ins, approvals, stars and redeemed rewards, with when each happened, which family device made each check-in, and which grown-up decided, by the name the kids call them (such as Mom).
• The family PIN, kept only as a salted one-way hash, never the PIN itself.
• On each device, who uses it (a grown-up, one kid, or the kids) and, on a grown-up's device, the name the kids call them, kept in that device's Keychain.
• Whether the family's subscription is on and until when, and the name of the grown-up who pays (as the kids call them), so every device in the family knows.

Where it's kept

On your devices, and in the iCloud account of the grown-up who set up the family, through Apple's CloudKit. Apple protects iCloud data in transit and at rest. Thaqib has no servers of its own, and nothing is sent to us.

Who can see it

Only the people you invite. Each invite is made for one person and works once. Grown-ups you invite can see and change the family's information; a kid's own device shows that kid's page. In parent mode, Settings → Manage People shows who has joined, and lets you remove anyone.

What we collect

Nothing. Thaqib has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it contains no third-party code that collects data. We don't sell or share your information, because we never receive it.

If you write to us from Thaqib, the email includes the app's version, your device's model and its iOS version, and a few lines about how your family's sync and notifications are working: counts and times, never names. You see all of it before you send.

Children

Thaqib is meant to be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian. Kids' information is entered by a grown-up and stays in the family's iCloud; it is never sent to us. Kids don't create accounts in Thaqib.

Purchases

The subscription is bought through the App Store, and Apple handles the payment: Thaqib never sees your payment details. Thaqib only asks the App Store whether this Apple Account has the subscription, or bought Thaqib before it became one. Kids never see a price.

Permissions

• Camera: only on the screen that scans an invite code (Join with a code), to read the code. Nothing is recorded or saved.
• Notifications: to tell grown-ups about check-ins and requests waiting for them, kids about their approved stars, and the grown-up who started the free month that it ends in two days. They're created on your devices, not sent from a server.
• Photos: Thaqib uses the system photo picker, so it only ever sees the photo you choose for a kid.
• Face ID and Touch ID: handled by iOS; Thaqib never receives biometric data.

Deleting your data

In parent mode, open Settings → Kids' Data. On a device signed in to the Apple Account that set up the family, Erase All Data deletes the family's information from iCloud and from every device in the family. On a device that joined a family, Leave the Family takes that Apple Account out of the family, and the family's information off every device signed in to it; the family stays for everyone else. The grown-up who set up the family can also remove anyone in Manage People.

You can also delete Thaqib's data from your iCloud in the Settings app: your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. On the Apple Account that set up the family, this deletes the family for everyone in it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be in the app and on this page, with its date at the top.

سياسة الخصوصية (العربية)

يساعد ثاقب العائلات على مكافأة العادات الحسنة. توضّح هذه السياسة ما يحفظه التطبيق، وأين يُحفظ، ومن يستطيع رؤيته.

ما يحفظه ثاقب

• أسماء أطفالك وألوانهم ورموزهم التعبيرية، وإن أضفتها: صورة، والعمر، وهل الطفل ولد أم بنت (ولا يُستخدم ذلك إلا لصياغة العربية).
• السلوكيات والمكافآت التي تُعدّها، وما يراه كل طفل، والمكافأة التي يدّخر لها كل طفل.
• التسجيلات والموافقات والنجوم والمكافآت المستبدلة، مع وقت كلٍّ منها، والجهاز الذي جاء منه كل تسجيل، ومن قرّر من الكبار، بالاسم الذي يناديه به الأطفال (مثل ماما).
• رمز العائلة، ويُحفظ على هيئة تجزئة أحادية الاتجاه مملّحة فقط، ولا يُحفظ الرمز نفسه أبدًا.
• على كل جهاز: من يستخدمه (أحد الوالدين، أو طفل واحد، أو الأطفال)، وعلى جهاز أحد الكبار الاسمُ الذي يناديه به الأطفال، ويُحفظ ذلك في سلسلة مفاتيح ذلك الجهاز.
• هل اشتراك العائلة مفعّل وإلى متى، واسم من يدفع من الكبار (كما يناديه الأطفال)، ليعرف ذلك كل جهاز في العائلة.

أين تُحفظ

على أجهزتك، وفي حساب iCloud لمن أنشأ العائلة من الوالدين، عبر خدمة CloudKit من Apple. وتحمي Apple بيانات iCloud أثناء نقلها وتخزينها. ليس لثاقب خوادم خاصة به، ولا يُرسَل إلينا أي شيء.

من يستطيع رؤيتها

من تدعوهم فقط. كل دعوة تُنشأ لشخص واحد وتعمل مرة واحدة. يستطيع من تدعوهم من الوالدين رؤية معلومات العائلة وتعديلها، ويعرض جهاز الطفل الخاص صفحة ذلك الطفل. وفي وضع الوالدين، تعرض الإعدادات ← إدارة الأشخاص من انضم، وتتيح لك إزالة أي شخص.

ما نجمعه

لا شيء. لا يحتوي ثاقب على أدوات تحليل ولا إعلانات ولا تتبّع، ولا على شيفرات من جهات خارجية تجمع البيانات. نحن لا نبيع معلوماتك ولا نشاركها، لأنها لا تصل إلينا أصلًا.

وإذا راسلتنا من داخل ثاقب، تتضمن الرسالة إصدار التطبيق، وطراز جهازك وإصدار iOS عليه، وأسطرًا قليلة عن عمل المزامنة والإشعارات في عائلتك: أعداد وأوقات، دون أي أسماء. وترى ذلك كله قبل أن ترسلها.

الأطفال

صُمّم ثاقب ليُعدّه أحد الوالدين أو وليّ الأمر ويشرف على استخدامه. يُدخل أحد الوالدين معلومات الأطفال، وتبقى في iCloud الخاص بالعائلة، ولا تُرسَل إلينا أبدًا. ولا ينشئ الأطفال حسابات في ثاقب.

المشتريات

يُشترى الاشتراك عبر App Store، وتتولى Apple الدفع: لا يرى ثاقب بيانات الدفع الخاصة بك أبدًا. ولا يسأل ثاقب App Store إلا عن أمرين: هل لدى حساب Apple هذا الاشتراك، وهل اشترى ثاقب قبل أن يصبح اشتراكًا. ولا يرى الأطفال أي سعر.

الأذونات

• الكاميرا: فقط في الشاشة التي تمسح رمز الدعوة («الانضمام برمز»)، لقراءة الرمز. لا يُسجَّل أو يُحفظ أي شيء.
• الإشعارات: لإبلاغ الكبار بالتسجيلات والطلبات التي تنتظرهم، والأطفال بنجومهم التي اعتُمدت، ومن بدأ الشهر المجاني من الكبار بأنه ينتهي بعد يومين. وتُنشأ الإشعارات على أجهزتك، ولا تُرسَل من خادم.
• الصور: يستخدم ثاقب منتقي الصور الخاص بالنظام، فلا يرى إلا الصورة التي تختارها للطفل.
• Face ID وTouch ID: يتولاهما نظام iOS، ولا يتلقى ثاقب أي بيانات حيوية.

حذف بياناتك

في وضع الوالدين، افتح الإعدادات ← بيانات الأطفال. على جهاز مسجّل بحساب Apple الذي أنشأ العائلة، يحذف «مسح كل البيانات» معلومات العائلة من iCloud ومن كل أجهزة العائلة. وعلى جهاز انضم إلى عائلة، يُخرج «مغادرة العائلة» حساب Apple ذاك من العائلة، ويزيل معلومات العائلة من كل جهاز مسجّل به، وتبقى العائلة لسائر أفرادها. ويستطيع من أنشأ العائلة من الوالدين أيضًا إزالة أي شخص من «إدارة الأشخاص».

ويمكنك أيضًا حذف بيانات ثاقب من iCloud في تطبيق الإعدادات: اسمك ← iCloud ← إدارة مساحة تخزين الحساب. وعلى حساب Apple الذي أنشأ العائلة، يحذف هذا العائلة لكل أفرادها.

التغييرات على هذه السياسة

إذا تغيّرت هذه السياسة، ستجد النسخة الجديدة في التطبيق وفي هذه الصفحة، وتاريخها في أعلاها.
